Anna Silk is a Fredericton native and the child of Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had numerous skills, such as being able to act, direct, produce, write plays as well as teach and serve as director of drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was the child of a British father and an Turkish-born mother from England. At the beginning of her career, Anna appeared on several commercials on television. In November 1999, Anna made the move to Toronto in order to further develop her acting career. She ended up making the move to Los Angeles, California, within the next decade. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting workshop in 2007. The couple got engaged in the year 2009. Anna was a convert to Judaism in the year before and Seth Cooperman got married in December of 2010 in Fredericton. In April 2011, they renew their vows in the traditional Jewish ceremony. Bo's sex-based romance with Lauren was highlighted in CNN's most popular TV Couples ever, and was named the top TV Couple 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Anna's fame on social media grew as a result of the show.
