Paula Patton is an actress and producer well-known for her leading roles in the action-spy film Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and the drama film Precious. As a child with her family in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, she had lots of dreams. Her mother was a movie lover and was a constant source of encouragement to her love for films as a child. Paula was a part of co-curricular school events, and she was especially interested in the drama. She enjoyed being in stage shows with her friends. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School's Hamilton Magnet Arts High School was the scene of many school plays. She decided to become an actor. It was an enjoyable summer at University of Southern California. The program offered her a three-month contract to make documentaries on PBS. When she was successful in completing the project, she started being a production assistant for TV documentaries. After completing her assignment then she began putting together documentary films. However, she had always wanted to be an actor, even though she was happy at her position. Her acting debut came through a role as a support in Will Smith's romantic comedy Hitch. Since then, she's appeared in a number of popular films and television shows.
