Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is an British musician and a singer. Harry Styles was one of the original members of One Direction. The band is based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, where together with his three classmates, he founded his own band called White Eskimo. Following their victory in the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to their outstanding performance, they were also a part of the Battle of Bands in the 2010 Battle of Bands. Though he's been interested in music, he was also aspired to become an attorney or physical therapist. For a while he worked part-time in a bakery in the city he lived in and hoped to assist financially at home. In the year 2010, Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he sang Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. That's why his group split. Nicole Scherzinger told Harry Styles, Liam Payne Zayn Milik Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson that they'd form a group named One Direction after the X The X. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in 2010. The band performed songs such as My Life Would Suffer Without You which was written by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. This made the group one of the potential winners for the prize. They came third, just behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles' group didn't take home the prize, however Cowell did pay two million dollars in cash to One Direction for them to make a deal with Syco.
