Kelly Clarkson is an American musician and singer who became the nation's sweetheart when she won the American Idol title in the first season of the show. It was not just the winning that ushered Kelly Clarkson into the limelight and fortune, but it also secured her an agreement with RCA Records 19 Recordings & 'S Records for a number of albums. Since then she has made several studio albums, three of which reached the top of the US Billboard 200' chart and the rest of her albums just fell short of the top spot. It's a major stars to come out from American Idol. In order to achieve success she experimented with different music styles and experimented on themes. Her work was praised by critics and several high-profile awards for her uniqueness and singing prowess. She's been honored with Grammy Awards three times. Grammy Award 3 times. She also has been featured in television and films. She is also the author of her children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as been a part of numerous charities.
